« KHOSROW & SHIRIN » is an independent non-profit project produced and directed by Sepand Dadbeh in Paris, Rotterdam and Tehran (2021).
This production is inspired by the book Khosrow & Shirin of “Nizami Ganjavi”, the great Iranian poet of the 12th-Century considered the greatest romantic epic poet in Persian literature. The narration of this project belongs to the romance of the glorious King of Persia and the graceful princess of Armenia. An epic love story whose tale has reached all corners of the world. A tale of four grand aspirations that many minstrels from China and India to Rome have tuned melodies on.
The first phase of the project will be released in four episodes. “Fire temple” is the second episode of this project which is produced by Sepand Dadbeh and Godishapour, music by Jansouz Collective and supported by Musée national des arts asiatiques Guimet.
